Projects
Since 2003 Pandan House is contributing to sevetal social projects like supporting a hospital with new furniture, schools with all kinds of stuff, there is a clothing project and a swimming competition.
Hospital
In 2003 Pandan House has made a contribution to a social project. In Amsterdam we have filled a container with stuff for the local hospital in Amlapura on Bali. Pandan House has offered fysical en financial help.

Clothing in the Kampong Pandan
The container for the hospital, also had many bags with clothing, toys and blankets. The clothing is divided into small bags. On initiative of Pandan House the kampong residents first cleaned the road from garbage and plastic, then everyone got a bag of clothing.
Currently there are agreements with the women of the Kampong. They clean once in the week the road. Also, there is now a number of bins in which the garbage can be put.
School
Pandan House gives regular pencils to children of a school in the area of Pandan House. Guests of Pandan House, Mrs. Wies and Mr. Louis Boudain from Doetinchem, organised together with the travel organisation "Wereldcontact" a gift. Two schools, 185 children in total, got bags, books and pen. You see, by the actions of guests, employer and Pandan House, the children of the school get improved possibilities for development.
Swimming competitions
On a regular base Pandan House organises for the local youth swimming competitions in the Tirtagangga water palace. We give the children a nice afternoon. All competitors receive a small present (often books or pen) and the three best swimmers receive an extra present (a small amount of money). Most of the time we try to get our guests involved so that the guests actively participate with our social projects.
